2Problem and motivation
Zone CMost workout apps are cluttered, subscription-based and too slow between sets. The goal was a tool that does one thing well: log weight and reps in seconds.
3Set-up
Zone D- 01Requirements: one thumb, one tapMy part
- 02Data model: exercises, workouts, setsMy part
- 03Interface: large buttons, dark mode
- 04Analysis: volume per workoutMy part
4Verification
Zone EFor this portfolio there is a demo mode without login: a small stand-in for the database runs in the browser, with six weeks of sample workouts. Your own entries work like in the real app but are not saved: they disappear when the tab is closed.
5Insight and next iteration
Zone F- Mobile first means designing for the situation (between sets, one hand free), not just for a small screen.
- A demo without login is a product decision, not just a technical one.
Next iteration
Training plans and a rest timer.
